Welcome to the journey of Song Notations.

Hello,

The fact that you have reached this blog, could well be the reason that you love music to some extent. I welcome you to this wonderful journey of learning the art of Song notations. New songs will keep coming, and old ones will never die, so calling it a journey is appropriate. To be self sufficient we must learn this art so that no matter what sounds you listen, you should be able to derive its notations and play them. And here my least little contribution towards that.

I am not a music genius or guru, but I want to share with you my experiences, that I feel could help you. Just as biographies/articles of great musicians show us some directions, I want to share my experiences. Hope it helps you in some or the other way.

I am currently learning to derive the musical notations of songs. Its a difficult start, but I ensure you it isn't impossible. If you are not bothering about learning this art and just want to enjoy and amaze your friends/family by playing songs on your instrument, you are still in right place. Just use the notations and start playing.

As music is a journey, you might not find each and every detail in one go. Similarly, all I can do is help you, assist you in playing a song, rest all depends on your practice and listening. I request you to listen to the original song many many times, while playing the notations so that you will get the correct tempo of the song.

I will try to accommodate as many songs as possible and from different sources as possible. Your song may or may not be there in the posts. Please request the song notation that you want and I will try to get the notations. If you have some notations, do share them so that other will enjoy them...

Due to scarcity of time I am unable to format the notations properly and post them. But to begin with, I am just posting the pics of the notations from my book. Hope that will get you started in playing the songs.

Wish you happy musical journey...
Thanks
